A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a group home setting is responsible for assessing the behavioral needs of residents, designing individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles, and overseeing the implementation of those plans by staff, aiming to improve the residents' daily living skills and reduce challenging behaviors within the group home environment.
Possesses a bachelors; has taken at least 1 graduate course in ABA; minimum 2 years of experience implementing behavior intervention plans, and has successfully completed one or more graduate level courses related to teaching skills and behavior management for persons with developmental disabilities. Requires Behavior Analyst from group practice to supervise indirectly.
